Christopher Ward has announced the C63 SH21 Snow Leopard, a limited edition watch of only 150 pieces from their Sealander range, in support of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF).
Christopher Ward has been supporting the DSWF since 2019, creating timepieces that celebrate the environment and generate funds for the preservation of endangered species’ habitats. Now, the company has launched the C63 SH21 Snow Leopard, that not only donates 5% of each sale to the DSWF but also adopts a snow leopard in each buyer’s name with a year of support coming from the purchase.
It’s estimated there are only 7,000 snow leopards left in the wild. The DSWF will use the funds generated from the sale of the C63 SH21 Snow Leopard to protect the snow leopard’s habitat from mining and agricultural developments, while also establishing new protected areas. Each buyer will receive a certificate, species fact sheet, animal bio sheet, photo, and snow leopard sketch print by wildlife artist Mandy Shepherd.
5% of each sale is donated to the DSWF and they also adopt a snow leopard in the buyer’s name with a year of support coming from the purchase.
SH21 movement
The C63 SH21 Snow Leopard is powered by Christopher Ward’s Calibre SH21, an in-house, automatic, COSC-certified chronometer movement. Calibre SH21 has a twin-barrel construction that delivers 120 hours, or five days, of timekeeping when fully wound. This version also boasts a power-reserve complication, The bridge has been designed to allow greater visibility of the twin barrels, boasting a ‘colimaçoné’ finish engraved with the company’s twin-flag pattern.

Design
The 41mm Light-catcher™ case has been designed to sit closer to your wrist and features a unique all-white dial, imprinted with a pattern inspired by the snow leopard’s coat. At 9 o’clock, there is the power-reserve, while at 6, there is a small seconds counter. The date window is at 3 pm. The watch is water-resistant up to 150 meters. It has a thickness of 13.1mm and a lug-to-lug of 48.2mm, with a 22mm lug width.
